Redeem PSN code online
Just as sure as the sun rises each morning – and a new Call of Duty game is released each year – the launch of the PlayStation 4 has sent Sony's servers into a bit of a tizzy. Due to the astronomical popularity of the shiny new machine, and therefore the unprecedented number of people attempting to take advantage of its impressive online capabilities, many unlucky users have been experiencing difficulties logging in to the PlayStation Network.
In an attempt to mitigate these potentially infuriating issues, the Japanese giant has removed the option to redeem codes and vouchers in the PlayStation Store. "To minimise the inconvenience we have suspended the 'redeem voucher' functionality whilst we investigate further, " blog manager Fred Dutton stated in a PlayStation Blog post. "Unfortunately this means that money cards, product vouchers, PlayStation Plus vouchers, PS3-PS4 upgrade vouchers, and any other vouchers for digital content are not redeemable at this stage."
While it was initially thought that these issues were only plaguing European players, a report from Polygon has revealed that some US fans have also been unable to use the feature. Will this temporary outage ruin your next-gen experience? Do you plan on writing Sony several stiff letters? Redeem yourselves in the comments section below.
